He Dr. Franz, I was wondering what camera you use to shoot such amazing photos and what camera and lens you would reccomend to a potential wildlife photographer(for hobby not money). I want to be able to take such amazing pictures but am not quite sure what equipment might be good for a starter.
Thanks for your kind words. In this older blog post I discuss my equipment https://www.franzfoto.com/2011/02/26/in-the-bag/ For a starter I would go with the Canon EF100-400mm IS zoom. It’s a great lens with a lot of versaiility. For a camera I’d go with a 7D, 60D or 5D.

Also I’m sorry for posting twice but I was wondering if you know any great locations to shoot in New York State. Thank you very much for your time.
